195 MW Gas fired Combinated Cycle Power Plant
This is a Combined Cycle Power Plant based on Gas and Steam Turbines with Cogeneration, capable of producing power exportable to the Electrical Grid and at the same time, if required, steam exportable to local Clients' industrial facilities for any civil and technological application.

Gas and Steam Turbo-generators are complete and in excellent conditions, no longer in operation, but still installed at the production site.
The Power Plant is of recent construction (2000), built with modern and technologically advanced components: the same models of Turbines are still in production today.
The turbines are characterized by high construction standards that guarantee operating reliability and good efficiency
The Power Station is made up of first-class machines, supplied by world's leading manufacturers: Novo Pignone / General Electric gas turbine, Ansal do steam turbine and Generators.
This plant was built by selecting technologically advanced machinery, which represented the best available choice on the market in the field of energy production plants.
At the time of the plant shutdown, Turbo-generators along with all the main equipment were mechanically intact and fully functional, presenting no technical problems of any kind; nor have they been damaged by accidents that occurred subsequently. The shutdown of the plant was exclusively due to market reasons (opportunities and commercial choices made by the owners) and not to technical problems connected with the operation of the machines.
